Phoenix roebelenii is a species of date palm that goes by the popular names Dwarf date palm, Pygmy date palm, Miniature date palm, or Robeline palm. They have rather thin, straight, or curved trunks that are covered in the bases of old leaves. They have a dense, complete crown of 4-foot-tall glossy green leaves that arch upward.
