The leaves of Maranta Leuconeura ‘Fascinator’ frequently fold together at night, resembling closed hands in prayer, earning it the nickname “prayer plant.” This is for wilderness safety. The leaves are oval in form and have a distinctive light-and-dark green feathery design with red veins. The undersides of the leaves are frequently red.
