Watering:
Water regularly in the initial years of growth (1 to 2 years). Do not overwater as the roots of the mango trees do not like to sit in water.
Fertilizer:
Fertilize during the growing season which is before August.
Re-potting:
Once the mango seedling reaches 2 to 4 feet in height, you can plant it in the landscape or keep it growing in a container.
Temperature:
Mature mango trees can tolerate temperatures as low as -4 degrees Celsius only for a few hours. The optimum growth temperature for mango is 23 to 27 degrees Celsius.
