Owning a Rubber Plant is all about the broad, lustrous leaves’ retro-chic appeal. The current cultivar Ficus elastica Robusta closely resembles the original species in appearance but has wider, glossier leaves.

Description
Watering:
Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times, but do not overwater as this will cause leaf drop.
Fertilizer:
Feed during summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
Re-potting:
Re-potting is recommended when it becomes root-bound and the roots fill the entire pot.
Temperature:
This Ficus does fine in normal household temperatures but will thrive in a slightly warmer environment between 16-24°C. Avoid cold draughts.
