Watering:
If the soil is dry to the touch, it is time to water. May require misting in a dry environment.
Fertilizer:
Fertilize in the recommended 3-1-2 ratio. Use the amounts specified on the packaging for liquid or gradual-release granular fertilizer.
Re-potting:
For the first three growing seasons, repot a young croton every year in the spring or early summer. After that, only repot when you notice roots growing out of the drainage holes or at the soil level.
Temperature:
They must be kept at a temperature of at least 15.5 degrees Celsius at night and around 21 degrees Celsius during the day.
