Bucida tree produces a small seed pod rather than an edible olive. This tree is salt resistant and almost grows into a bonsai by itself. It is an evergreen tree with a smooth gray-brown trunk and small dense foliage.

Description
Watering:
It likes to be well watered, do not allow them to get to dry.
Fertilizer:
Make use of a 6-month time release, 18-6-8. You can also use a water-soluble fertilizer.
Re-potting:
Repot during the warmer months of July and September. For best results, use a well-draining granular mix.
Temperature:
If temperatures are expected to drop below 4.44 degrees Celsius, bring it inside or cover it.
