Bambusa Vulgaris is an open-clump bamboo species. It is native to Indochina and the Southern Chinese province of Yunnan, but it has been widely cultivated and has become naturalized in many other places.

Description
Watering:
Water at least once a week. Water 2 to 3 times weekly for young bamboos and fresh transplants.

It can withstand temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius and is well adapted to semi-arid environments, as well as degraded and flooded lands.
